OCT-PS-900 Solar Pump Inverter
An MPPT inverter running pumps up to 22 kW straight from the array, with no batteries.
Batteries add roughly a third to system cost to serve a need that does not exist: irrigation happens in daylight. So this inverter runs directly from the array, varying pump frequency as irradiance changes through the day.
It carries dry-run and under-voltage protection, both of which protect the most expensive item in the system - the pump - rather than the inverter.
